A few years ago I worked on coming up with an idea to help fund SVR's campaign to build supported and assisted living in Glasgow. SVR - Scottish Veteran's Residences provide support and independent living for veterans in several locations throughout Scotland. This was one of the best and most worthwhile shoots I was involved.

Failure. Why do we fear it?
The dictionary definition of failure is a lack of success. However, failure is the key to success. Oh yes it is. You don’t have to see it as an ending. You’re not Chicken Licken and the sky is not falling in. Success requires you to learn from your mistakes rather than taking them at face value and giving up. Failure happens to everyone. That goes without saying. But what separates us as human beings is the understanding of the power of failure. Those who succeed understand. Those who don’t…well, say no more.

The Men of MCY.
Finally I get to share the recent film we made. It's about men doing yoga. Say what? I hear you...and that's the point. Who'd have thought men actually went to a class full of women and joined in their yoga class. But when you attend a class at Merchant City Yoga there's a whole bunch of guys there already doing it. And they're not all doing it secretly. Some actually started yoga with their girlfriend or wife and when the female half of the duo gave up, the guys kept going.
