An 8 minute long brilliant music video.
Oh my. This is a joy. I came across via Short Of The Week this morning and just had to share it.
Last night I was flicking through the music channels on the box and thinking how it had been a long, long time since I even watched a music video let alone paid attention to music videos released by artists these days.

Behind the scenes of photoshoots, pole apparel and punks.
Ok, not quite a real punk but that's his stage name and I'm sure lurking beneath the surface is the true punk in him. The punk I'm referring to is Artpunk, the photographer. I've worked with him before and love his no nonsense approach and style of photography, which made him the first choice for the look we were going for.

That time I received a marriage proposal.
Well, let me put you straight. This particular post isn’t about my long ago tale of lost romance (if you could call it that), it’s actually about a client request. However, it did get me thinking to that one time in my life someone said ‘We should get married’. Or at least I think that’s how it went down.

The powers of PR, pole and a business of the year award.
When Pole Junkie reached out to me (yes I did use that awful American phrase but hey, ignore that) around 18 months ago to chat to me about a rebrand, they had already made a dent in the pole apparel world. They wanted to take it up a notch which is where I came in. So when they recently won a Business of the Year award we thought why not share that news with everyone. Even the non pole community amongst us.

7 months since my last post. Oh the shame.
Why the shame? Because I berate my clients for not blogging enough. I need to take my own advice. So what have I been doing? No, I haven't been gallivanting around the world as some people think. I know I have a penchant for leaving the country rather frequently but I've been in good old miserable Glasgow. And by miserable I mean the weather as it hasn't exactly been a summer of sun has it?

24hrs in Skye.
Along with all of the other Scottish Islands, Skye was on my list as I'd always dreamt of exploring more of what's on my doorstep rather than jumping on a plane every month or so. After all, there's an amazing array of scenery within a few hours drive of Glasgow, so what better way to explore the motherland in short weekend bursts. That's the way to do it I think.

What to see, eat and do on the NC500.
After recently completing the NC500 I was asked by many to share my itinerary. I was initially given a list by a friend and I added to it. Do some research and check out some places you fancy, and remember most of the stops on the trip are seasonal. So although I had the greatest of intentions to see and do all of the list, most, unfortunately, were closed. Here's hoping our beloved coast will cater for the tourists amongst us throughout the winter months. I'll just have to go back in warmer weather.

The NC500. Scotland's Route 66.
I'd read that Scotland had its own version of Route 66 so was curious to see what it was all about. Even though I haven't reached the West Coast of America yet I decided to tackle something that was on my doorstep and started to plan the trip for Spring this year. Warmer weather, sunny days, midgie dodging tricks and paddles in clear blue waters...

What makes you tick?
In the last post I wrote about stumbling across Ian Sanders and singing hallelujah at the top of my voice. So I'm sharing the very video I watched that helped me go back to my roots, find out who I really am and what actually makes me tick.
