10 Years of Pole Junkie: Then, Now & What’s Next

There was a trend doing the rounds recently, 2016 vs 2026. Looking back at where you were, and where you’re at now. And I couldn’t not write this post about Pole Junkie.

This year marks 10 years since I started working with Pole Junkie. From a small, fierce idea to becoming the leading pole wear brand in the UK and arguably one of the most recognised in the world. And I’ve been lucky enough to be part of that journey from the start.

Back in the early days, it was all hustle, heart and big ambition. The brand launched from Kirsten’s bedroom, grew fast, and never once lost sight of who it was for. Confident, powerful humans who wanted to move, express themselves and take up space — unapologetically.

In 2016, Pole Junkie got in touch because they were ready to level things up. Moving from a home-made, in-house brand they had created the year before, to something built for growth. They already had the energy, the community and the vision. What they needed was a brand that would build on what they had started.

Over the years, we’ve done a bit of everything together. Branding. Campaigns. Photoshoots. Social content. Email newsletters. Packaging. Merch. Shiny hand-foiled business cards (always shiny). From big creative ideas to the small details that make a brand feel considered and cared for.

And that’s the thing, Pole Junkie has always cared. About its community. About representation. About inclusivity. About doing things properly. It’s never been about chasing trends for the sake of it. It’s been about building something real, and building it well. Something that will last.

Looking back at the work from 2016 is properly nostalgic. The early shoots. The bold energy. The DIY grit mixed with big dreams. And then you look at where the brand is now. Confident, established, global. It’s grown, but it’s never diluted or lost sight of theior goals.

Now, in 2026 terms (or at least looking ahead to the future), it feels like the brand is entering another exciting chapter. More confidence. More clarity. More room to push creatively while staying true to its roots. And I’m still here, still collaborating, still shaping ideas with a great bunch of humans, which is the best part.

Because long-term creative relationships matter. The best work is built over time through trust, shared experiences, and really understanding a brand so it can evolve without losing its soul.

Ten years of Pole Junkie. Ten years of backing fierce, really good humans to embrace their inner pole being. And there’s plenty more to come.

Cheers to what was, what is, and what’s next.
